Mountain Cabbage Tree ismagnificent species, growing to 8m, with a truly exotic look, this is slightly more tender and apparently more difficult to grow, and consequently much rarer than the related and rather similar Cordyline australis. At least two cultivars are known.
Differs from Cordyline australis by having much broader leaves. A spiky formed tree with large, glossy, strap shaped leaves and drooping clusters of small fragrant greenish-white to purplish-brown flowers in late spring to early summer.Supplied as 180cm ( 6ft) plant above the pot.
