Laurus Nobilis Standard with triple twisted stem

With its ‘triple’ twisted stem and ‘hand pruned’ lollipop
head, Laurus Nobilis makes a unique addition to any garden and will be a
treasured possession for years to come. Both decorative and useful, the
mature leaves of this Sweet Bay Tree can be used fresh or dried as an
essential component of the bouquet-garni for flavouring stocks and sauces.
This premium quality standard Bay Tree has a thick triple twisted stem and
is supplied at 100cm high, topped with a head of approximately 60cm in diameter
(total height including pot 175cm).
Laurus Nobilis is a slow growing evergreen plant very often used in topiary
for it’s glossy, dark green leaves. This Laurus Nobilis Standard will grow in
full sun or partial shade in infertile, moist but well-drained soil producing
clusters of greenish-yellow flowers from March to May.


Garden care: Keep well-watered during the growing season and
feed with a slow-release fertilizer. Clip established plants lightly twice
during the summer months to retain a balanced shape.
